IAA Transportation 2026: Krone relies on the strength of its group with the “Built as One” concept

The German manufacturer is taking advantage of the Hanover event to showcase the full strength of its group through a new concept called “Built as One”, which brings all of its brands together under a common identity for the first time.
Present in Hall 27 (stand C40) as well as in several outdoor areas, the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group wants to demonstrate its ability to meet all the needs of the logistics chain, from production to recycling, thanks to an offering covering numerous sectors of activity.
A global vision of transport
The common thread running through the stand is based on an immersive representation of an urban environment illustrating the different stages of logistics as a complete cycle. A way for Krone to highlight the synergies developed between its different entities.
For the first time, Knapen, Schwarzmüller, Hüffermann, Trailer Dynamics and Gigant are exhibiting together under the group’s banner. An evolution that reflects Krone’s strategy of offering global solutions rather than simply a range of vehicles.
“With ‘Built as One’, we are highlighting what characterises the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group today: the close integration of our brands, our expertise and our solutions. Our objective is to offer our customers a complete offering covering the entire transport and logistics chain,” explains Simon Richenhagen, Head of Marketing at Krone Commercial Vehicle SE.
Much more than semi-trailers
While Krone remains a reference in the field of trailers, the group now wants to highlight a much broader approach. Its portfolio today covers the agricultural, construction, logistics and waste management sectors.
This offering is accompanied by numerous services, whether spare parts, digital solutions or alternative propulsion technologies developed by Trailer Dynamics, whose electrified trailers aim to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions from road transport.
The stated objective is to offer a solution adapted to every need throughout the vehicles’ life cycle.
Gigant, the group’s technological foundation
The axle specialist Gigant also occupies an important place in this joint presentation. Three models will be exhibited: a Krone axle, a 7-tonne drum axle and another 10.5-tonne axle.
Through this presence, the group reminds us that a vehicle’s performance also relies on the quality of its technical components, which are often invisible but essential to the reliability and longevity of vehicle combinations.
A stand designed to encourage exchanges
Krone has deliberately designed a welcoming exhibition space, giving priority to meetings between customers, partners and industry professionals. The objective is to create an environment conducive to technical and commercial discussions, away from the usual hustle and bustle of major trade shows.
The manufacturer is also reusing several elements that marked its stand at IAA 2024, while enriching them with the new products and technological developments presented this year.
A stronger outdoor presence
The exhibition is not limited to the main hall. In the outdoor P43 area, the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group will present around a dozen vehicles from all of its brands.
Visitors will notably be able to discover a Hüffermann container carrier, a Krone Cool Liner refrigerated semi-trailer and a Schwarzmüller tipper. Other Krone vehicles will also be displayed in the L42, Q41 and N41 areas, confirming the group’s desire to showcase the full breadth of its expertise at IAA Transportation 2026.
