IVECO strengthens its presence in Northern France with the takeover of Leleu in Valenciennes

The manufacturer IVECO continues to expand its network in France.

Since April 1, 2026, Bertrand Coquidé, long-standing dealer of COVI Camions et Bus, has taken over the operations of Leleu & Compagnie, based in Valenciennes.

This move is part of a territorial development strategy aimed at strengthening the brand’s presence in a key region for road transport. It also includes the transfer of all employees, ensuring continuity of operations and service for local customers.

For Bertrand Coquidé, this acquisition reflects a clear ambition: to “support the brand over the long term by strengthening our presence in serving transport operators and local businesses.”

From IVECO’s perspective, this initiative is part of a broader effort to structure and reinforce its network. “This strengthened partnership will further improve service quality and IVECO’s presence in Northern France,” said Amélie Tschudi.

With more than 200 sales and service points across the country, IVECO now operates the second-largest network in France in the light and heavy commercial vehicle market. In a sector undergoing major transformation—particularly driven by the energy transition—the strength of territorial coverage is more strategic than ever.

On the ground, the Valenciennes teams are already welcoming customers under the same conditions, with all services maintained, from sales to after-sales support. This operational continuity reflects the stakeholders’ commitment to supporting transport professionals as closely as possible to their needs.
