After equipping its Chilly-Mazarin site in 2025, La Blanchisserie de Paris is taking another step in its energy transition. The company has just commissioned a second charging site in Grigny, inaugurated in June 2026, once again with the specialist Bump. Six new charging stations have been deployed there, bringing the total number of charging points operated across both sites to eight.

A specialist in linen maintenance and rental for hospitality and catering professionals in the Île-de-France region, La Blanchisserie de Paris processes nearly 40 tonnes of linen every day thanks to a fleet of around twelve heavy-duty trucks. Half of these vehicles are now electric, with rigid trucks supplied by Fraikin.

After supporting the installation of two Renault Trucks electric rigid trucks at the Chilly-Mazarin site in April 2025, Bump is now continuing its partnership by equipping the Grigny site. It now hosts four electric heavy-duty trucks—one Renault Trucks and three MAN e-TGM—which now benefit from six new charging points.

A Lever for the CSR Strategy

For Nicolas Joyeux, Production and Technical Director and Partner at La Blanchisserie de Paris, this expansion addresses several challenges.“Between 30 and 40% of our carbon emissions come from last-mile logistics,” he points out. The electrification of the fleet is therefore fully in line with the company’s CSR strategy, while also representing an advantage when responding to tenders.

The increase in fuel prices and the volatility of electricity costs have also reinforced this strategic choice, even if the return on investment remains a long-term objective.

Profitability Planned Over Several Years

The company believes that the economic viability of the project relies above all on controlling operating costs.“It is the financial parity in the field and the right electricity price provided by the Bump solution that make the project viable over a five- to seven-year horizon. We are still in an investment phase,” emphasizes Nicolas Joyeux.

The same observation is shared by Bump. “For heavy-duty trucks, the transition takes place at the depot, not on the road, because the dedicated public charging network is still very limited,” explains François Oudot, CEO and Co-founder of Bump. Thanks to its management platform, the company optimizes the power drawn, adapts charging to vehicle rotations, and supervises the fleet in real time in order to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Building on this second collaboration, La Blanchisserie de Paris is not ruling out extending the charging capacity of its first Chilly-Mazarin site in the future, thus continuing the gradual electrification of its fleet.
