MAN TGX RACE POWER

MAN Truck & Bus France unveils the new MAN TGX RACE POWER, an exclusive limited series designed for transport operators and drivers looking for a vehicle with a strong character. Produced in only 24 units, this special edition brings the codes of motorsport into the world of road transport, combining performance, design and refinement.

Inspired by the “Roughroads – Dakar” universe, the limited RACE POWER series clearly displays its competition-oriented DNA. Developed on proven long-distance transport configurations, this MAN TGX receives the new MAN PowerLion driveline, notably integrating the new MAN D30 engine. Available from 380 to 560 hp, it promises power, robustness and efficiency to meet the demands of various transport applications.

The MAN TGX RACE POWER immediately stands out with its full two-tone livery and exclusive graphic design combining metallic shades of blue, red, white and gold. Every body element has been designed to reinforce its presence on the road.

This limited series notably receives an aerodynamic “RACE POWER” sun visor, side and roof deflectors, a glossy black grille, white steel wheels with blue hubcaps and black nut covers decorated with red lions, as well as front and side underrun bars integrating LEDs. A light bar installed on the roof completes this resolutely spectacular package.

Inside, the MAN TGX RACE POWER focuses on a high-end atmosphere thanks to the large GX cab, combining comfort, technology and exclusive finishes. The “RACE POWER” branded upholstery and floor mats are accompanied by a Dark Moon Grey interior design and refined ambient lighting.

The onboard equipment is particularly comprehensive with the 12.3-inch MAN Navigation Professional multimedia system, a multifunction steering wheel, an electric auxiliary air conditioning system, but also a television, a coffee machine and a microwave. A large 230 V electrical package with inverter and power outlets is also available as an option in order to further improve onboard living comfort during long-distance journeys.

This limited edition also benefits from the latest technologies developed by MAN to optimize safety, comfort and efficiency. Among them are the MAN OptiView digital mirror replacement system, ACC Stop&Go, MAN EfficientCruise with PredictiveDrive as well as the MAN EfficientRoll system.

Designed to make drivers’ daily life easier, the MAN TGX RACE POWER also receives the MAN EasyControl Long Haul system. Thanks to four buttons integrated directly into the door, certain functions can be activated without entering the vehicle, thus limiting repetitive climbing in and out.

These controls notably make it possible to activate the hazard lights, close the windows and sliding sunroof, lock the passenger door or even control the work light.

Each MAN TGX RACE POWER unit is numbered and identified directly on the cab, further reinforcing the exclusive character of this limited series. Available only through MAN Truck & Bus France and its network, this special edition is aimed at transport professionals wishing to combine strong image, comfort and performance on the road.
