Simon Loos is going all in on electric with Mercedes-Benz Trucks !

The Dutch logistics operator confirms its commitment by ordering 75 new Mercedes eActros 600 trucks.

A decision that brings its electric fleet to 210 trucks — the largest in the Netherlands and one of the biggest in Europe.

Following an initial order already put to the test in real-world conditions, the feedback is clear: electric has now firmly established itself in day-to-day operations.

These new eActros 600 units will be dedicated primarily to food distribution and beverage logistics, with configurations tailored to operational needs on the ground.

"We want to keep moving forward, not stand still" — the message from Simon Loos is unambiguous. Already a pioneer since 2021 with the first eActros models, the company reaffirms its role as a leader in the energy transition of road transport.

By the end of 2026, up to 150 eActros 600 units are expected to be in circulation within its fleet.

A scale-up that proves electric trucking has now moved beyond the testing phase… and into full-scale deployment.
