MAN invests €300 million to strengthen its service network across Europe

MAN Truck & Bus is announcing an investment of approximately €300 million by 2030 to develop and modernise its service network across Europe. This is the largest investment programme of its kind in the manufacturer's history. The goal is to establish new facilities, upgrade existing sites, and improve regional coverage in order to enhance the quality of service offered to customers.
Today, MAN already operates a strong network with nearly 1,200 sales and service points and more than 2,000 maintenance centres and partners across Europe. The manufacturer also aims to reduce travel distances to workshops: ultimately, 80% of customers should be within 30 minutes of a MAN service point.
A significant portion of the investment will be dedicated to electromobility and digitalisation. By 2026, two thirds of facilities are expected to be ready to accommodate electric trucks. The programme also includes the training of 8,000 employees, the deployment of battery repair centres, and the installation of up to 400 public charging points for electric heavy-duty vehicles, in partnership with E.ON.
With this ambitious plan, MAN aims to strengthen its proximity to hauliers and prepare its network for the new demands of tomorrow's road transport.
