The latest example comes from Lithuanian transport and logistics company TRANSTIRA, which has confirmed an order for more than 500 Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin trucks, scheduled for delivery throughout 2026. This major contract perfectly illustrates the level of confidence currently placed in Mercedes-Benz Trucks across key international transport markets.

This commercial success is not limited to Eastern Europe. In France as well, Mercedes-Benz Trucks is achieving particularly strong results. Market figures recorded in recent months rank among the best the German manufacturer has seen in many years.

The arrival of the new-generation Actros L ProCabin, combined with a particularly comprehensive product range and an aggressive strategy across several segments, is clearly contributing to this growth.

However, the large-scale orders recorded in countries such as Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and other Baltic markets are also helping to strengthen the group’s market share across Europe.

The more than 500 Actros L ProCabin trucks ordered will allow the company to support its growth while continuing to modernize its fleet dedicated to international operations throughout Europe. According to TRANSTIRA’s management, several factors influenced the decision: fuel consumption, overall operating costs, onboard digital services, and driver comfort.

The new Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin was clearly designed to meet the expectations of major long-distance transport operators. Its new cab design, sometimes criticized but significantly optimized from an aerodynamic standpoint, allows fuel consumption to be reduced by up to 3%, according to the manufacturer.

Under the cab, the truck features the third generation of the OM471 engine, a true benchmark for the brand in terms of fuel efficiency, and feedback from French customers has been particularly positive on this point. The objective remains unchanged: reduce operating costs while improving the vehicle’s total cost of ownership.

The vehicles ordered will also be equipped with the latest generations of driver assistance systems developed by Mercedes-Benz Trucks. These include Active Brake Assist 6 Plus, Active Sideguard Assist 2, and the Predictive Powertrain Control system, which automatically optimizes driving based on road topography and route profiles.

TRANSTIRA will also use My TruckPoint and Fleetboard Uptime digital tools to monitor vehicle data, anticipate maintenance operations, and minimize downtime.

This order of more than 500 vehicles confirms a trend observed over recent months: Daimler Truck continues to strengthen its presence in the European road transport market.

Driven by a renewed product range, a strong historical presence within major international transport networks, and significant investments in new technologies, the German brand continues to attract major industry players.

At a time when competition remains particularly intense, this new order from Lithuania demonstrates that the Actros remains more than ever one of the benchmarks for European long-haul transport.

And apparently, the commercial momentum of Mercedes-Benz Trucks is far from slowing down.
