eProtocole strengthens driver traceability and safety

These developments aim to strengthen productivity, logistics site management, driver experience and compliance tools.

Faced with growing requirements for traceability and compliance in logistics, eProtocole, the safety protocol digitalisation solution developed by B2P, is continuing its evolution with a monthly update programme deployed since January 2026.

These developments aim to strengthen productivity, logistics site management, driver experience and compliance tools. This development dynamic makes it possible to quickly integrate the needs expressed by logistics operators, QHSE managers and transport companies.

A new dimension of driver traceability

Until now focused on the distribution and signing of safety protocols, the platform now includes a site presence tracking feature. Gatehouse personnel can now record a driver’s departure directly from the portal, allowing site managers to have an up-to-date list of the people present on site at any time.

This functionality is accompanied by enhanced consultation traceability. Operators can now identify drivers who have not consulted the protocols available to them, with each protocol displaying either the date of the latest consultation or the mention “Not consulted”.

A redesigned mobile application

The Drivers by B2P mobile application has also undergone significant changes since March 2026. Its interface is now organised by site rather than by protocol in order to align the user experience with operational realities in the field.

The application also allows drivers to more easily identify protocols that have not yet been consulted.

In addition, the QR Code journey has benefited from several improvements since January 2026, including the addition of new languages, ergonomic enhancements, the display of site contact information directly accessible when consulting a protocol, improved tablet management, as well as various additional information designed to enhance the field experience.

New management tools

eProtocole is also enhancing its management capabilities with the integration of consultation statistics accessible from the dashboard, with filtering options by period, language and consultation type.

Driver data export has also been enriched with the addition of the date of the latest protocol consultation. Finally, an automatic blocking system for invitations sent to closed companies has been implemented in order to limit unnecessary mailings and distribution errors.

Continuous platform development

According to Aurélien Barbe, Product Owner Manager at B2P, the sustained pace of development since the beginning of the year makes it possible to evolve the solution according to customer feedback on a daily basis.

These developments concern productivity, notably through bulk import and new shortcuts and filters, but also compliance and safety through technical enhancements and regulation-related features. They also cover the modernisation and accessibility of the platform, both for managers through the portal and for drivers through the mobile application and QR Code.

A help and support centre was also launched in March 2026, providing access to all functional documentation directly from the platform.

Launched in 2020, eProtocole now supports several hundred logistics sites in the digital management of their safety protocols. The solution enables the creation, distribution, signing and monitoring of safety protocols through a web portal and the Drivers by B2P mobile application.
