When Germany Takes Inspiration from the French Formula

It is an approach that will sound familiar to French truck enthusiasts, as Mercedes-Benz Trucks France has been bringing its community together at the 24 Heures Camions du Mans for many years.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Actros, Mercedes-Benz Trucks Germany is doing more than simply displaying its latest models at the Nürburgring Truck Grand Prix. The brand has chosen to actively involve its community by inviting owners of Actros trucks from every generation, organising entertainment, competitions, meetings with brand representatives, and showcasing a truck created through the “Design Your Truck” community contest.

This approach will feel very familiar to regular visitors of the 24 Heures Camions du Mans. For many years, Mercedes-Benz Trucks France has transformed the event into a genuine meeting place for customers, drivers and fans by offering numerous activities, interactive experiences, community events and opportunities to connect with the brand.
At the Nürburgring, the concept goes even further by bringing together one Actros from every generation in a special “Generation Gathering”, culminating in a parade around the circuit. The stand will also feature the eActros 600, eActros 400, the Actros L ProCabin, and several special-purpose vehicles.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in competitions, interactive workshops, meet product specialists and sales teams, and talk with Mercedes-Benz Trucks apprentices present throughout the event.
This initiative reflects a growing trend across the industry: beyond the vehicles themselves, it is now the users who have become the brand’s greatest ambassadors.
It is a philosophy that Mercedes-Benz Trucks France has successfully embraced for many years during the country’s major truck gatherings—and one that is now inspiring initiatives across the border in Germany.

When the best ideas travel, the entire Mercedes-Benz Trucks community benefits.
