80 years of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog 🎉🚛
Since 1946, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog has been doing what others simply can’t. Ploughing fields, clearing snow from highways, pulling rail wagons, or crossing flooded fords — eight decades later, this machine from Mercedes-Benz Trucks remains unmatched. And for good reason.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of this mechanical legend, TruckStop headed to Germany, to the Unimog Museum in Gaggenau, for a full immersion day: exploring its origins, test-driving several generations on a dedicated track, and — exclusively — discovering a particularly spectacular anniversary prototype.
