Grupo Isabel Alonso, Nuprifrio and Garciden are strengthening their fleets with a total of 400 Iveco S-Way trucks intended for long-distance transport across Europe. Their handover coincided with the inauguration of a new network location in Pechina, in southern Spain.

Three Fleets Strengthened for European Routes

A major delivery for Iveco in Spain. The manufacturer has announced the handover of 400 S-Way trucks to three haulage companies: Grupo Isabel Alonso, Nuprifrio and Garciden. These vehicles will strengthen their operations on domestic and international routes, from Spain to the main European markets. The distribution of the trucks between the three companies and their technical configurations have not been specified.

A New 25,000 m² Site in Pechina

The handover took place during the inauguration of Bahía Iveco’s new facilities in Pechina, in the province of Almería. Opened on 25 September, this 25,000 m² complex represents an investment of €8 million. It strengthens the network’s presence in a region where agriculture, logistics and industry generate freight flows towards the rest of Europe.

Connected Services to Optimise Operations

To support these long-distance operations, Iveco highlights the S-Way’s connected services: real-time vehicle data monitoring, predictive maintenance and dedicated assistance. According to the manufacturer, these tools are intended to help improve truck availability and control the total cost of ownership, alongside fuel efficiency and driving comfort.

With this combined delivery, the brand has completed a major commercial operation with three players in the Spanish transport sector, while strengthening its support network in the south of the country.
