The 24 Heures Camions celebrate their 41st edition with 79,500 spectators!

The 41st edition of the 24 Heures Camions welcomed 79,500 spectators to the Bugatti Circuit this weekend. Large crowds came to celebrate this unmissable event, punctuated by an exceptional spectacle on track and a festive atmosphere.

The 63 trucks entered (27 in the FFSA French Truck Racing Championship, 20 in the British Truck Racing Championship and 14 in the Goodyear FIA ETRC European Championship) each delivered spectacular battles, particularly during the race held at night, one of the highlights of the event.

24 Heures Camions Challenge: Le Mans driver Thomas Robineau won the 24 Heures Camions Challenge, notably after winning Race 3 of the FFSA French Truck Racing Championship on Sunday.

Goodyear FIA ETRC European Championship: Norbert Kiss secured another continental title at the Bugatti Circuit, the 8th of his career. He is the only driver to have such a record on the European scene. The Hungarian driver gave his rivals no chance, winning three of the four races over the weekend.

BTRC: the British competitors once again put on a great show, much to the delight of the Sarthe public. Simon Reid delivered the best performance of the weekend, winning two races. Michael Oliver and Craig Reid each won one race.

Beyond the sport, the 24 Heures Camions remain a true celebration.

Truck Show: around 250 decorated, vintage, tuned and American trucks took part in the parade on Saturday evening and Sunday at midday. Highlights of the weekend, tens of thousands of spectators gathered along the circuit’s main straight to admire these exceptional trucks.

Concert: on Saturday evening, DJ Loran set the pit straight on fire, turning it into a giant dancefloor for the occasion. Michaël Youn, the starter for this edition, surprised the crowd by joining DJ Loran on stage to perform several of his hits and get the audience going.

Manufacturers: the 24 Heures Camions Manufacturers’ Village brought together the eight major European road transport brands around the event’s official partner, Renault Trucks: DAF, Ford Trucks, IVECO, MAN, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Scania and Volvo Trucks.

Employment and Training Area: more than 25 companies and organisations welcomed drivers, bodybuilders, mechanics and young people looking for opportunities in the sector.
