Sampa France: A New Site in Saint-Priest to Improve Parts Availability

The manufacturer of spare parts for heavy goods vehicles, trailers and buses has announced a 6,569 m² site in Saint-Priest, near Lyon. Expected to open in the second quarter of 2027, the site will combine automated logistics and component remanufacturing.
For a workshop or a haulage company, an unavailable part can extend a vehicle’s downtime. This is the issue Sampa France intends to address with its future site in the Urban’East business zone in Saint-Priest, east of the Lyon metropolitan area. The stated objective is to raise parts availability to above 94% for the European market.
Located on a 12,385 m² plot, the building will comprise a 4,525 m² warehouse, 1,700 m² dedicated to industrial activities and 344 m² of office space. More than 10,000 pallet locations will be complemented by an automated small-parts storage system with a capacity of 24,000 locations. This equipment is intended in particular to speed up order preparation.
Remanufacturing Also on the Agenda
The future site will not be limited to storage and shipping. Its industrial area will accommodate component remanufacturing activities. Sampa therefore aims to extend the service life of parts and adapt its offering to changes in vehicle fleets, particularly in response to the energy transition.
This site is part of the Sampa Forward programme, launched by the group in September 2026 at the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt. Following the opening of the Bartlett site in the United States, the French project continues to strengthen industrial and logistics capacity close to its markets.
“Our objective remains unchanged: to better meet our customers’ needs and support them sustainably through the transformations ahead, particularly those related to the energy transition of vehicle fleets,” says Emmanuel Vincent, President of Sampa France.
Founded in 1994 in Samsun, Turkey, Sampa reports a catalogue of more than 150,000 references and a presence in over 160 countries. With Saint-Priest, the group is preparing a facility whose value for professionals will be measured in practical terms by parts availability and the speed of order processing.
