IVECO makes access to electric easier with an unprecedented offer on the eDaily 7.2 t

With an original initiative, IVECO intends to remove one of the last obstacles to the adoption of larger-capacity electric light commercial vehicles. For every order of an eDaily 7.2 tonnes, the manufacturer now offers reimbursement of the Category C or C1 heavy vehicle driving licence, up to €6,000 excluding VAT.
An unprecedented offer aimed at accelerating fleet transition while improving their operational efficiency.
A concrete response to the limits of the 3.5-tonne segment
While the French fleet of 3.5-tonne light commercial vehicles continues to grow, driven in particular by the rise of e-commerce, less than 3% of these vehicles are currently electrified. Yet their payload often remains limited, especially for demanding applications such as distribution, tipper operations, or refrigerated transport.
With its eDaily 72C14E, IVECO offers an alternative capable of significantly multiplying payload capacity: up to five times more for a van and six times more for a refuse collection vehicle, while enabling companies and public authorities to increase their expertise in driving heavier vehicles.
Full support for obtaining the driving licence
The reimbursement offered by IVECO covers not only the costs related to obtaining the Category C or C1 licence, but also the theory test if necessary, as well as FIMO training when required.
An approach particularly suited to sectors where driving is not the main activity, such as construction or landscaping.
Another regulatory advantage: under certain conditions, the eDaily 7.2 t can be operated without a tachograph when journeys remain within a 100-kilometre radius of the company headquarters.
An economically competitive model
Beyond the reimbursed driving licence, the acquisition of an eDaily 7.2 t also qualifies for several support schemes: a tax over-depreciation allowance that can reach €20,000 per vehicle, and a CEE incentive, which can reach €25,769 incl. VAT, or even €53,479 incl. VAT for certain specific applications such as refuse collection vehicles in small urban areas.
According to IVECO, these incentives, combined with the significant reduction in energy costs, allow the eDaily to achieve a total cost of ownership (TCO) 12 to 18% lower than that of an equivalent diesel model.
A performance reinforced by an estimated 98% reduction in CO₂ emissions from well to wheel, thanks to the French electricity mix.
An electric utility vehicle designed for every mission
Leader in the 6 to 7.5-tonne segment with 85% market share in 2025, IVECO confirms its ambition in this category with a vehicle that is both robust and versatile.
The eDaily 7.2 t offers up to 3,750 kg of payload, can tow up to 3.5 tonnes, provides up to 20 m³ of usable volume in van version, or even more than 35 m³ with an added body.
It adapts to many applications: tipper, recovery vehicle, refrigerated transport, aerial platform, or waste collection.
On the range side, the vehicle can reach 350 km in urban use, while its 115 kW fast charging allows it to recover 100 km in only 20 minutes.
Its 50 kW electric power take-off completes an offer designed for the most demanding missions.
Thanks to its connected services, such as the Smart Routing function, the eDaily also allows drivers to optimise their routes and anticipate charging according to their mission.
With this new offer, IVECO is not simply promoting electric mobility: the manufacturer is seeking to make its transition more accessible, more profitable, and easier to adopt for professionals.
